Boro Tickets

by West Stand Man » 31 Jul 2006 16:32

Can't see any other threads on this one. When are the tickets available - or have I missed them while on holiday?

I've been wondering when the individual matchday tickets would go on sale, my thread on here about it got deleted for some obscure reason.

Nothing on the official site yet. :x

Deends on when the LI fixtures are - and I believe they were announced today.

The Sales Centre is going to arrange it so that they spread out ticket demand - so that peaks of RFC & LI ticket demand are kept seperate.

So I'd hope the dates will be announced any day now.

Any news on the sell-back scheme yet, as I will be out of the country for the Boro game
Presumably they'll want to get this set up before they start selling Boro tickets?

I seem to remember that the Plymouth tickets at this time last season went on sale with no alot of time to the match.

17 days to Boro game and club still not selling tickets. Incredible.

And no sign of when Villa tickets to go on sale either. Almost unbelievable.

Why is it "incredible"?
The 2000 or so tickets that will go on general sale will sell like hot cakes so just keep monitoring the OS.

And Wigan tickets go on sale on Tuesday for their fans.

Does anyone think that I will get a Wigan ticket with 333 points?

Yes. I doubt strongly that we'll sell our full away allocation at Wigan.

We won't take more than 2000 to Wigan.

I'm unaware of what our allocation will be but, I quote "Away fans are located in the North Stand at one end of the stadium. Up to 5,400 visiting supporters can be accommodated in this area."

I would be surprised if we took 2,500. Getting tickets will not be a problem.

Unless the club knows this and asks for a smaller allocation.

The way it works is that the first allocations is sale or return to RFC, then if they want more they commit to buying them all, so might not want to take on this extra risk.

There shoulds be no problem getting a ticket for Wigan.
The turnout will obviously depend on our first two results but can't see us taking more than 3,000 up there.

Away end at Wigan is now located behind the goal (to the left of the old away end down the side as you sat there) so it won't look so stupid.
