Fair enough giving the loyal supporters first dibs but it's going to be a 12:01am scramble for the remainder.
Nice move with the coaches, not that i'd want to travel up on one.

RoyalBlue People will say they want to travel on the coach (because they have nothing to lose) and then not turn up as they decide to take the car, get a lift with their mate etc.

Seal Well fcuk that.
2,800? What a joke.
Free coach travel is a nice gesture, but why have it exactly match the number of tickets available? Screws anyone who doesn't live in Reading / has slightly less member points.
I have somewhere between 600-1600 points, which means waiting until Tuesday. No way I am booking a train ticket with no guarantee of getting a ticket to the match. So if I wait until then a) my train ticket will probably be north of a ton and b) that gives RFC and Royal Mail less than 3 days to combine forces and get the tickets to me before the end of the working week.
Only RFC could try and do something really nice for the fans and manage to end up a laughing stock.
2,800 tickets for a weekend FA Cup Quarter Final. Embarrassing. How many did Notts County take for a 4th round game on a Sunday? 4,500.
Oh well. Got a big night out on Saturday anyway so now I have an extra ton to put towards it and my hangover will be on the sofa rather than train.

biscuitman Seal and for everyone else.
2,800 is the initial allocation. We can get upto 5,800 if the demand is there. Official.

PEARCEY The club have under-estimated the interest there will be in attending this claim. I reckon we would sell between 4000 to 5000 tickets.

floyd__streete Could any other club make such a consistent balls up of things as RFC does?
Free coach travel - FANTASTIC, well done.
2,800 tickets? You idiots. You could flog 5,000 based on free flippin' travel. This is going to be absolute carve up now. All very well saying you can ask for more tickets dependent on demand but you're creating a logistical nightmare given you have a week to sell them.
Luckily for me I am in the 1600 bracket
