Good to see fans taking a stance against these big, fat, greedy corporate arseholes who are all over the game. Horrid vermin all looking to make bucks.

Same fans who are buying through the nose every other week though. It's a bit of a token effort frankly, but I guess does show even football fans have their limit of exploitation.

Yes, it's fans boycotting due to the massive hike in CL group stage games. However, it's good to see the club doing a good gesture.

So did you buy your ticket before or after they started giving them away? Or are you a dirty, rotten, low down, mongdiv cretin of a scab? Or, most likely, were you lying when you said you were going?

I see lots of people were dressed as blue seats at the Mad Stad tonight. :
Not heard that one before Kessers.

Worth noting that Southampton got 32k, maybe we should have gone down the toss money away like you like route, they seem to be doing better for it.

Note to J Mad, if you want RFC to be a bigger club we need more fans, Reading middle class town, which is where the money is in short supply.

They did spend several years playing at a significantly lower level than us for it. And adding 5000 fans to our average attendence is going to add less than £2.5m, which while extremely handy, isn't going to make a huge difference to our turnover, or performance. It's not even the oft brought up black hole.

Depends how much we are told about the black hole, £2.5m would pay wages for 2 or 3 top players at this level, still if you think that makes no difference than hey.

HSSC, you can obviously read, try and concentrate on my post and give it another go. I didn't say it would make no difference.

3 top players on over 15k a week is a big differnece, you said £2.5m wouldnot make a huge differencem I think it does, and I think most and the club would agree, at the moment out income is in the region of £12m a season possibly £14m, £2.5m on top is a large increase in income.

perhaps you could explain where these three £15k a week players are going to come from and how the employer contributions are going to be met.

And remember 5k fans takes our average attendence to 21600 odd ( a very big slice of the stadium) and is a totally unrealistic increase to achieve through marketing of the club. And £2.5m is an over estimate of the revenue it would bring in as it's based on £23 a ticket.

Any increase based on reducing ticket prices reduces your increase in revenue even further.

There are always players that are free to leave other, clubs, BWCBAP when they are mentioned around HNA, larger income means the club can afford to pay more overall.

You mentioned £2.5m, so I used that figure from you, if you meant a lot less you should have put that. I would hazard a guess that it is adults that are leaving the club, rather than Kids, the same adults that were there in the Prem seasons, and re-appear when things get better. We know from Wembley that fans are there, it is a matter of making RFC more important to all the area.

You are always going to get perhaps one or two near sell outs per season if you're team arn't doing too badly and it's near the start of the season.

Every time I see you've posted I  because I know it's a wind-up. You have, in your mind, rattloled me. Say goodbye to ma,pa, little Jimmy, your sister and rover the dog for me will ya.

Before you come up with your witty retort consider the fact that you're the one who is rattled because you reacted to me calling you a scab with a personal insult

Don't get wound up by the Internet, it's pointless. HTH.
