Ambulance obstructing Gate 7 exit

RL - to get your opinions rolling, there needs to be a groundswell of additional support and suggestions. Should it be a lone email received it will probably be ignored.

OK - pls anyone who thinks the Ambulance is parked in the wrong place and causes an obstruction when exiting the ground, please pm me with your thoughts and I'll collate them all and pass them onto the club. Please put your real names on end of PM or pm me for my email address and email me - as they won't listen to people with humourous names on a messageboard!

To be fair, if a H&S issue has been raised, as it has by RL, and then there is an incident that involves this ambulance the club could find themselves on a very sticky wicket.

That is what risk assessment is all about, RL has pointed out a risk, the club decide to ignore it at their peril.

It is not quite Hillsborough, but any rush out can cause a crush, and forcing crowds down a small space is hazardous at the best of times. Imagine a fire and 8000 fans trying to escape quickly for safety, go RL and stop being so , ok its not a problem Benders.

or they just did an assessment and it disagreed with RLs


it is possible they took on board her reputation as an agitator and trouble maker and chose to ignore it, but i doubt it

Well I've had one PM from a fellow nobber who is unhappy with where the Ambulance parks etc - so I presume everyone else has no problem with it or has contacted the club themselves.

Last time this came up, it may be earlier in this thread I posted about he SB at EP where they used to block the exit wih a police wagon, one lette to the club and i never happened again, may have menioned Hillsborugh TBF.

Got a reply:

Thank you for your email and I apologise that this has still not been rectified. Our Safety Officer and Stadium Manager will meet with the Operations Director of the South Central Ambulance NHS Foundation Trust in the control room tomorrow to discuss further and find an alternative location for the ambulance when it is approaching the end of the match.
