Maquisard Y26 - is there anywhere else to be?

Quite high up though (row U) so I'm a bit worried that my ageing eyesight will struggle - the other end of the pitch is a long way off. I'll be the one referring to the players as "That man" instead of calling them by name

I've just invested in a season ticket for the first time since 2003 and have grabbed what ever seats I can in Y26, currently I sat in row B which is not ideal but I'm hoping to get some more joy in the movers period... If your eyesight fails you Maquisard we could always swap

Bought one for my nephew today in NS. Couldn't get seat next to us, when I said I would wait to Mover's week to ensure we sat together, the chap on the phone did not hold out much hope. Looks like I will have to be BillyNoMates

Wahay, activated  Also got myself a season ticket, North Stand, B18 Row Z somewhere or the other, first time since the south bank back at Elm Park...

Bizarre question, for some reason I've heard rumours that those who buy a season ticket now are also able to use the ticket to go to the remainder of this seasons home games on it. Now this doesn't make much sense to me, but if I can, it would be rude of me not to go. Can anyone confirm if this is true?

Ain't going to happen. Firstly, your ST card will be a new card sent out to you in the summer so am not sure what card you were hoping to use for the Palace and Forest games.
Secondly, every home ticket has already been sold for the Palace game so where were you planning to sit ?

Yeah your new ST definitely won't get you into the remaining home games for this year, I think what was happening is that your royalty points immediately update with the added ST points so you may find you are eligible to buy away tickets sooner than you thought. Best get in there quick if you want Birmingham tickets, they are selling out fast!

This was why I said it didn't make any sense to me... However that doesn't change the fact that someone (relatively) trustworthy has sworn blind that we can use our new ST's to go to the last games.

Without wishing to labour the point, what member/ST card does this trustworthy person expect you to use ?
In addition, whatever seat you have been allocated for next season has 100% already been sold for the Palace game and I would imagine has probably been sold for the Forest game.

I'm just trying to be helpful here, and saving you from having to hang around outside the ground wondering why you couldn't get in.

LOL I agree with you! I was just asking as this is what I had been told, apparently would have been the seats we have had allocated for next season, along with the ST which would supposedly have been sent straight out. Think the guy had had a few too many to drink after a round of golf but that's another story.

I certainly wouldn't have been going to the game ticketless and without some sort of confirmation.

1871 Royal Early bird renewals, now until Friday 30th March, SAVE UP TO £25:
East, north and lower west stands: Adults £350, 17-21s £220, 65 & overs £220, 16 & under £99.
Upper west stand: Adults £400, 17-21s £250, 65 & overs £250, 16 & under £99.

IF we get promoted would these have been the cheapest ST renewal prices in the Premiership?

Hi Jano, welcome to the board.

Your season ticket will be posted out around July time - that's what the T/O told me when I bought ours.

Your points however are added now!

If you have a members card, this will now be defunct, and you will instead receive paper tickets for the remaining home games - you will need to buy these tickets! They are not inclusive of next seasons season ticket.

Crystal Palace is now sold out. Get in fast for Forest and Birmingham, both are close to selling out as well.

Paddy

Possibly, Wigan are usually dirt cheap but Blackburn are selling them for next season for just £225  ... even if that's Championship football that's decent value at less than a tenner a game.

Maybe he's got confused with the offer that next season's season ticket holders can bring a friend to the Forest game for £5, i.e. 2012/3 season ticket holders already have some benefits. Wouldn't have thought this extended to a seat at the game tho!

On another note, this movers period, what's that all about? Is there likely to be a considerable amount of shifting around, because I kinda figured that you just ended up with seats wherever there was availability - hence i've ended up over in Y19 in row JJ or something. Is there a chance that I could improve my seats? Sorry for the rather newbie-ish question, the last time I had a season ticket at the mad-stad they didn't have such a thing as reserved seating. Then again, they only averaged crowds of about 10,000.

When the movers period is open just phone up or go to the T/O and get the move done. It should not be a problem as the club use the premise that an empty seat (or a seat not renewed) is voluntarily made available. It depends on what you want really but i'd stay away from down the front and go mid stand.

but the seat you have been allocated for next season has already been sold to someone else for the forest game ( i think its forest that sold out already ) as it is sold out already.
