200 Miles Linking to other people seems to be a problem, they need an account first which isn't what was advertised

Yep, so to “conveniently add my other family members” I need to set an account per head, even though my son isn’t about to buy anything soon. Different.
But hey, ludicrously cheap STs make up for slight flakiness.

tmesis I've no idea why accounts couldn't have been passed over automatically. It's a basic IT task.
Really shoddy from the club.

My mrs and step kids don’t have accounts but it let me add their member cards to my F&F list.

Not really though
Probably best that you confirm the old system can talk to the new system and describe the basic IT task the club should’ve taken?

Snowflake Royal It's no big deal, but data migration is a very standard part of any IT development regardless of whether the two systems talk to each other. And duplicate / inactive account data deletion should be no problem as part of that.

None of which means getting users to reregister isn't a valid thing to do. Trying to second guess what a dormant account is or even a duplicate is never going to be perfect and everything has a cost....

Jagermesiter1871 I clicked linked accounts and it doesn't offer me any option to add my previous account - anyone having this issue? What a state.
