Red They had to allow ample time for posting though, the timelines were pretty justifiably tight IMHO.

Why the feck do they need six days to post the sodding things? Ordered Thursday, only being posted Wednesday! Just asking for problems. If they can't provide the service they shouldn't be given the contract!

finbarr
gh7901 Only bought one ticket after a few hours of the website crashing on Saturday. Parents let me know that 2 recorded deliveries had arrived...strange I thought.
Check my account today and 2 tickets have been been debited! (different price points, as I was trying everything)
Only 1 email was received so never thought anything of it, every other attempt timed out at the point of payment.

Am I likely to get a refund for the extra ticket in this case or am I better off trying to sell it?

call TZ customer services - they will ask you to send the ticket you don't require back by recorded delivery and they will refund your account in time for Christmas.

I hope they will refund the cost of the recorded delivery and pay you a £2.95 administration charge for your trouble!

My mate is also a victim of the TZ online fiasco.

No tickets in the post and no email. I mentioned the problems I'd seen on here so they rang TZ and were told there was no booking, although they had confirmation email and booking reference.

They've now been told they've got new seats and nervously waiting on the postie's arrival.

If HNA? represents only a fraction of RFC fans we're only seeing a fraction of the problems - I reckon there has been an almighty balls up and wouldn't be at all surprised to see empty seats on Monday.

am I missing somthing here?

loads of peoples bookings didnt go through but they ring up and get new seats basically

how do they get new seats when we sold out? Logical answer would be they kept some spare when the problems started, which begs the question how many spare oxf*rd seats are there that will be empty?

or am I reading into this wrong?

No, that was my thought too - just how are Ticketzone able to keep conjuring up all these extra tickets to cover up cock-ups?

A m8 of mine was able to phone up and buy a ticket yesterday.

Anyone without one could do worse than trying the same thing.

Still waiting. I wonder how many people were sold double seats due to internet problems!

40000 tickets now sold, a handful of single seat tickets are remaining but some have an obstructed view.

Just interested to know, what sort of allocation does a club get for the Cup Final - not that I think we'll be playing in one any time soon just interested to know if it would even be as high as 35k.

Of course, some of the "extra" tickets are as a result of their (double-booking) cock-ups.
Definitely worth anyone without a ticket ringing up for returns and re-allocations I would think.

Must be lower because there'd be more corpor8 and FA tickets given out. If I were forced to make a guess I'd probably venture somewhere around the 30k mark.

For the FA Cup Final each club is given around 25,000 tickets, another 17,000 go to Club Wembley (not in direct control of the FA), which leaves 23,000 to members of the “football family” minus the number set aside for sponsors.

More for FA Cup semi-finals as the “football family” don't get tickets for that.

I know it's a rather obvious thing to say but please do not forget your ticket on Monday, Wembley apparently do not issue duplicates on the day of the game, therefore if you have no ticket you will not get in.

Me for one. At least, there are two recorded delivery items waiting for me at the Post Office, so I'm guessing I've got two tickets.

I think it is about 26,000 each. Don't forget there are 17,000 debenture holders leaving 73,000 to sell. For the FA Cup there are all the FA hangers-on like the County Associations and every other footballing set of nobodys. The difference with our game is that there are none of those and it appears nearly half the debenture holders declined the opportunity to use their seats.

I don't actually think that the play-off final is included in the Club Wembley membership now - which is why all of these can be resold to supporters.

It may change in future years, though.

This is correct. I just found out you also don't get a free programme for this fixture as it's organised by the Football League rather than the FA.

Apologies if its already been mentioned on here but are there going to be big empty spaces in the middle tier, like there were at last years playoff final. Like these ones you can see in this video of Adam's free kick.
