Could tell some tales about road trips to Grimsby, Darlington, Barnsley and the likes in our old 1970's bangers........but like the cars and games themselves......all thankfully forgotten.

Live for the day Booby....even if it is MK

Royal Ginger And the times after the game are a bit of an arse-hole. They're all dependent on getting out promptly or waiting for ages.

Train times leaving are:

5:07pm
5:22pm
6:03pm
6:15pm
6:59pm
7:46pm
8:18pm
8:43pm

So how could that be much better?! It's surely more than adequate for train. That's into Euston too

Ah, yup, seen it now, I was looking at Fenny Stratford only. Bletchley it is then.

Pissed I'm not at Franchise FC today as *ahem* I used to live in MK - or at least Stony ..... which is, actually, a top place. Great rhythm and pulse.

Red Lion on the canal at Fenny is the one to go for if you can be arsed .... Failing that, plenty of good pubs (including the Cock and Bull) in Stony and take a cab.

Remember Bletchley is the nearest mainline station and, if you've an hour to kill and arriving mid morning, pop into Bletchley Park where the second world war was won.

Agreed re Stony. Great place
I suggested it was best place to drink but as you say a taxi ride away.
Leeds fans swarmed all over Stony especially the Plough when they played MK

INSIDE THE STADIUM

Every one of the seats inside stadiummk is padded with loads of leg room. There are dedicated spaces for 164 wheelchair users in the back row on concourse level with an adjoining seat for a personal assistant. There are 145 seats for ambulant supporters on the back row with adjoining seats for carers and assistants.

The 360 degree open top concourse means you are full view of the pitch when ordering hot and cold drinks and snacks and bars serving alcohol are also accessible from the concourse.

Mom’s Fabulous Hot Dogs are available and will also be from carts stationed around the concourse – the carts will help elevate queues!

The burgers have been redesigned and will make an appearance with monterey jack cheese and crispy onions in a brioche roll.

What’s more, the confectionery collection now includes M&Ms and Maltesers grab bags, as well as Haribo Tangfastics and Super Mix.

The popular Piglet’s Pantry pies remain on sale but with a special addition – the steak & ale pie which includes beer from local company Concrete Cow Brewery.

Food deals
Meal deal – any hot food item, any hot/soft drink and a bag of crisps/chocolate bar (£6)
Pie and pint – any pie and a pint of Carlsberg for £6

Four pints of Carlsberg can be purchased anytime for just £14.

New to this season, fans can now pay for their food and drink with their contactless credit and debit cards.

The disabled pledge will continue where food can be ordered to a requested seat.

Morning all, Dons fan in peace.

Having read through this thread this morning, my advice to those of you driving is to leave Asda well alone as they hand out tickets and are even stricter on a match day.

Ikea on the other don't seem to mind, I'm a season ticket holder of 7 years and have parked in there every match and have never had a problem, obviously with it being a Saturday afternoon the car park is busy with shoppers but I have always found it easy enough to get a space even if it means driving round for 5 minutes.

Hope this helps as parking around the stadium area is a bit of a pain, wish you all a safe journey down and enjoy the game (hopefully not too much though!)

Not really, if I'm being honest where the ground is situated makes it quite a poor away ground for beers, most home supporters either go to the Red Dot Bar which is at the stadium or there is a bar in the ground in the stand opposite the away end which is where I go before most games.

From what I've heard for away fans the best option is either Fenny Stratford or there are some restaurants like TGI Fridays right by the away end which I believe accept away fans on match days, I'm not 100% sure about though so you may want to check that before going

Hope this helps

Ta
As I say more out of interest than anything as I live locally
I guessed it was more likely to be drinking at the ground for home fans
