Winchester Royal They should open up another block and take pay on the day, I reckon.

if our end is sold out, why woudl southampton want more reading fans than necessary. They need the points as much as we do, the less reading fans they have to lift our team the better it is for them!

Because they're broke, at a guess.

Indeed. they won't sell out and we'll surely get another block.

They are desperate for cash.

ALso, still awaiting my Brum ticket in the post and praying i'm going to not be near the front. I think this could be the game where everyone stands I really do.. its on Sky and an early kick off the last shopping weekend before xmas..ruling out all the old people and kids.

Ordered mine on the 9th and received them on the 12th. Right at the back.

Don't know if that helps or not...probably not.

I ordered my Brum ticket exactly a week before you, phoned ticket office yesterday and they said they'd be sending it out that day. Hasn't arrive today yet though. Apparently someone needs to allocate them and he wasn't in

Away allocation at this game completely sold out - 3,200 of us merry (literally) souls making our way down to the coast. Revenge is sweet! Bring it on.

I have some friends going and they're sitting in the home end and WILL wear their Reading shirts...they're pretty brave...esspecially if we creme them 8) I would be going too, but work doesn't allow me to.

Does anyone know when they show Championship Highlights of this match and the one on Boxing Day?
Will it be Monday 29th?

Going in the home end with their RFC shirts on?? I think the stewdos might have something to say about that SO9.....

Mind you I can feel another thread starting up here, although the subject may have been previously covered.

How many people have ever gone in with the opposition support?

I know when Reading were playing 'Boro at Elm Park and that, as it was sold out, the only alternative was to go in the town end. Me bro' and his mate were brave on a couple of drinks whereas I was stone cold sober. Mind you I did laugh though 'cos when 'Boro scored we stood still,so not really obvious,eh? Mind you the best bit was 10 mins from the end when Kirby and the lads walked calmly from the Southbank fence, right across the front of the opposition. Ah, the memories.

Might have to go in the home end also

With their attendances of 14,000, why not give us another 3-4k? Reading NEVER request more tickets, like ever. I remember the reason being something like away clubs have to buy the tickets and buy them in bulk. So reading, being stingy, don't want to request another 2k incase we only sell another 1.5k. It goes back to the point on another thread of away fans being treated like crap.
Do Southampton let you pay on the day in the away end?

Just go in wearing one of our old Red away shirts and they'll be none the wiser!

How many people have ever gone in with the opposition support?

Hampden Park supporting England,
Parkhead supporting Hearts,
Parkhead & Ibrox supporting Aberdeen
Dundee Utd supporting Aberdeen at Hampden,
Dundee derby supporting Aberdeen! (Aberdeen Soccer Casuals  )
Wycombe supporting Reading,
Watford supporting Reading.

I've watched Reading from the home end at an away game as these 3 places...

Birmingham 1-1 draw last season
Brighton 1-0 win in 2002
Wycombe 2-0 win in 2002.

Apparently you can only get tickets on the day if you're already on their database - this is due to us having sold all our tickets.
