Daniella
RG30 I like the kit but I'm not a fan of the new Premiership style lettering which applies to all clubs for next season.

Not a fan of modern day shirts. 45 a shirt is laughable, been that way for some years though. Id rather buy a sponsor-less retro from the 70's.

Yeah, I'd just as soon somebody knitted me a blue-and-white hoop dealie, just as they did back in the days before "merchandising" and the sponsor's logo splashed across the front. And the Premier League-mandated lettering and numbering is indeed a joke.

As to the new roadie...not at all half bad, I have to say, and in fact I think I might really grow to like it with time.

Rhys The Royal http://www.readingfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/NewsDetail/0,,10306~1034037,00.html?

Couldn't they just get a player to model them?

Not Glen Little though

All on holiday I'd imagine?

For once RFC get something right on the shirt front. Very nice design. I'm looking forward to the day we get rid of the current home kit. Hopefully it will also be replaced by something as well thought out.

I think the kit looks good, just hope the quality is there as the home kit fell apart quicker than our defence did against Arsenal.

Everyone can wear one to away games and yet from a distance it won't look like a bunch of plastics in club colours, so our support won't get slagged off. Result on both fronts.

RobRoyale ...you really have to be an idiot to think that that is the new colours!

....or to think that I would accept that the new kit is going to be grey and dark grey!

But I love it!!!!!!

Doesn't look too bad.

I prefer the Rhubard and custard kit though.

I wont be buying it though after the poor quality shirts that I paid £40 for last season.

I've got better things to spend money on.

I like it. And it is running around 70-30 so far on positive responses. Which from HNA is as close to unanimous appoval as you could get.

Come on Chicago!! You know you love it! That is as close to a White Sox version of our kit as one could imagine!

I agree. The numbers seem ok, but I think the letters look too small. I thought they said they wanted to modernise the brand or something, but IMO they've just come up with something very dull.

It's quite nice and fairly innocuous, but I was rather hoping for the blue and yelow.

Never mind, it'll grow on me, and I'm sure I'll like it more when we start scoring in it.

From the design (the back is the giveaway) it looks like Puma have bumped us up into the top tier for shirt design. That is they have various kit designs, or home kit for example is used by lower league clubs and the quality is poor, whereas the away kit looks to be from the same design that Spurs and International sides wear. Lets hope the quality improves as much as the new design!

I like it because it's a return to a fairly straightforward design design, no daft bib and different coloured sleeves. It's almost like a hooped version of the away kit from 2 seasons ago.

You were looking way too closely

Same design as Spurs' home and away shirts last season.

They're the same design, except for our hoops. Socks and shorts are the same and the shirts are the same. They have the same neckline and bit of colour which goes around the back of the shirt.

I think that the shirt is the same design as Liverpool's, Man Utd's and Arsenal's, bar the the colour.
