Platypuss
The 17 Bus you could say the same of Ipswich, but they have 5000 less

Ipswich is London overspill territory too.

Suffolk is less inbred than Norfolk as well, therefore more prone to outside influences and new ideas. Like surporting a team because they are good, not because they are local.

I would never slag off someone who supported a football team because they were local.
Rubbish team or not, that's not the point, it's just round the corner, go with some friends, and watch the game.
That's the very essense of football supporting itself.

Ian Royal So only about 7 clubs out of 23 with more STs sold than us. Pretty good for a small town near Oxford!

And LOL at us having more STHs two seasons running than Birmingham (actually I rather suspect 3 seasons)

Derby are doing pretty well! Must be desperate to see some half decent football and a couple of wins.

I think renewals for Derby were quite cheap. Plus there isnt much else to do in Derby.

Apparently Waitrose employees get 25% off a season ticket.

I've no idea if you have to have worked there for a specified amount of time, or whether you could just apply to be a part-time worker doing a minimal shift, then jack it in when you've got your reduced ticket though.

I expect you would have to have the "red" discount, assuming it is the same as John Lewis was 4 - 5 years ago. Which means you'd have to have worked there for 3(?) years.

Looking for a bit of advice nobbers.....

Now yesterday I sat in a different seat to my ST seat and had a much better view of the game and enjoyed it better from their.

Is their any chance of me moving to another seat still or am I too late?

If the outstanding checkout girls from the Occy Road store come along to a game, then that can only be a good thing.

To save you waiting, I'd say it's still possible - you need to talk to the Ticket Office and see if the seat you want to move to is still available. If it's free I'd say there's a fair chance - but don't forget that there are a number of games on sale already so it may have been sold for some of those.

Just got back from an hour ride to and from the mad stad.
Firstly to collect my forest tickets and secondly to move seats. They let me move and now I am closer to the half way line in a better position. Quality!

That is all.
