I think the reason that these blocks near the half way line are held back is a request from Wembley. If the club does not sell out then these blocks can be handed over to the opposition team without affecting segregation, where as if they are blocks behind the goal they cannot do this.

That is just a possible explanation and not a fact btw.

If that was the reason I would have thought that as we have not sold out those blocks would have gone to Arsenal

Well lies lies and more lies today from my phone call to the ticket office manager..

He denied the whole thing was a shambles, denied that anything was said about "Personal Callers to the ticket office would get the best sests available".
The tickets still available are blocks 104,121 and 122 which are nowhere near the corporate section (even though he told me thats why the tickets became available). Wont swap seats for anybody becuase its too much "Hassle".
His response to me saying that even the lady who queued all night didnt get one of best seats available?:
"she got a ticket didnt she?"!
He said it was only my personal opinion that it was a shambles so i asked him if he read the forums becuase there are and have been plenty of comments on there about it......
He said he did and yes there were a few.

Red 'Upper' tickets arrived this morning and they're in row 2. So assuming that seating plan is correct which was posted on here, I'll be paying the ticket office a visit to today to get the tickets exchanged for 2 in the newer red section of seats near the half way line that are available.

Fair enough, its just that on the day we were told that blocks 102 and 103 were corporate etc and thats why they were not available, but i stand corrected.
Seemingly it depended who you spoke to as to what you were told.
Shouldnt be suprised by that cos the guy at the ticket booth next to me was told block 104 was sold out before i even asked for mine and i got block 104!

But if you guys think it's acceptable to be treated so shambolically then thats fine.
