Club have taken up increased allocation of just over 1600. So assume initial 1100 now sold.

How come this tie is so popular? I know the tickets are cheap but it seems like a cr*ppy journey.

Probably the importance of the game. Maybe our last chance of an away win at this level for a while (hopefully not). As you say, very cheap tickets. Decent pubs not too far from ground. Far worse grounds than Portman Road to watch Reading play.

Sold out online and yet allocation extended by another 500 or so. It would help if the ticket office and online sales would coordinate properly so that those wanting to buy tickets can.....

Am going on the chuffer via Liverpool Street and Cambridge which seems a far better option than the bloomin' tube and bus and train....

Station Hotel is right outside the railway station and is an "away fans" pub. About half a mile stagger to ground.

Or, a short walk away from the ground is an area called Ipswich waterfront. Lots of bars in the area. Seem to remember a few...
....Steamboat Tavern, Aurora Bar, Isaacs on the Quay. All around half a mile from station.
