How about a few of these that have a view onto the stadium just in case you need to go during the game ;)

bb0118 Travel Agents?

Costa Coffee?

Macdonalds? (lower level tier, bottom of y25 perhaps!)

Would Compass have exclusive rights to be the only business selling food?

Discuss.....

Almost undoubtedly......them or whoever else has the contract, i would assume that it would be re-tendered with such a large redevelopement.

We suggested to the club during the session about the expansion on Monday that fans would be better served by selling the concessions to a variety of suppliers, so as to ensure competition between them.

At the moment Compass have an effective monoply, which can't be good for prices and choice.

I am less worried about prices and choice than I am about quality and speed of service. It must be the worst ground I have ever been to for that. There always appear to be loads of people behind the counter who seem to be doing nothing.

Paint on the drab nicotine stained walls would be nice

Christ....never noticed how depressing the grey shade of breeze blocks are, until you leave the game 0-4 down

... Like a bit of lino on the floor. It added a bit of colour (blue) at the Walkers.

At other new grounds they often have pictures showing old legends on the walls, why can't we have that?! It shows a bit of pride in the club and gets the fans in the mood before kick-off (more bars would also help this) as well as giving new fans a history lesson.

They are pulled down in haste before London oIrish pile in and are very understated

I am sure that the Monopoly rights attract more value that the Competitive rights so I cannot see that changing.

Possbly, but if you can sell competitive rights to 3 people each for 40% of the cost of monopoly rights then you still win.

But you wouldn't be able to would you. Monopoly rights mean monopoly prices, leaving you more margin to pay for the rights in the first place. If all you are doing is sticking a booth somewhere to compete with two other booths next door selling the same sort of things then price becomes the main differentiaiting feature.

I would be very surpised to see more than one company in there.
