RL can have my seat - I am now partially deaf from sitting too near Floyd.

Is there a connection between this thread and the one about the "Rol a Seat"?

Could be a marketing ploy by the Megastore.

Royal Lady  For sitting in the season ticket seat he's paid for every year since the Mad Stad opened? I'd like to know how the seat got split mind you.

Probably but some fat oaf who thinks it's OK to stand on other people's seats as they hurdle the rows to avoid the queue in the aisle at the end of the game.

Better than walking down at a snails pace being shoved about by people who think they'll get down quicker by walking in to you.

Take out all seats and replace them with rol-a-seat...

Following an email from the club about a week ago apologising for any inconvenience and assuring that the seat will be repaired in good time for the Sunderland game, I turned up to find the seat in exactly the same broken state it was before. It is barely useable.

Pitiful customer service.

Did you then point this out to a steward, as previously suggested?

No, because, firstly, there's nothing a steward could do as it's smashed. Unless he's got a spare replacement under his dayglo jacket along with the requesite tools there would be nothing they could do at 2.45pm.

Secondly, they may well have prevented me sitting on it.

Dirk Gently What you're meant to do is .... ask for the Chief Steward of the stand (every supporter has a right to do this if they have a query/grievance).

Ask them to arrange for the seat to be mended - when I had the same problem (except without the tape being involved - it was me who noticed the problem!) they came and fixed it there and then!

Anyway, I thought having split you seat was one of the entry requirements for FFF!

I refer you to the previous answer from DG

Thanks, but it's absolutely no help whatsoever. This seat could not be repaired at short notice. I doubt Dirkers seat was actually smashed.
