There is now a vacancy as a marketing assistant. Wonder if it's a coincidence?

Got to love how the club are pretending the leak didn't happen and will announce the new kits in July like it's a massive surprise. Bunch of pillocks.

I heard earlier that the new guy Charlie Watts approached the club about the leaked images, wanting to publish the story of the Football League leak, and the club made it very clear he wasn't to run with it.

I do like the fact the fact the picture they have used with the job ad is a close up of the shirts.

...and we'll probably still have to suffer the drip feed revealing little bits at a time.

And alongside the ad there is the following bit of info:

Megastore closed Wednesday

Stoke take on 26th

Can't get rid of our own old shirts but now taking them from Stoke too?!

Didn't realise Fordham had a part-time job assisting with text for the RFC website!

Does this usually mean the kits come out that day?

Yep - I drip feed correct information to people on here, and some not so correct information (on purpose) and they get in a paddy about it. Quite funny really as it's only a football kit at the end of the day.

We have stock-takes every few months. Means nothing. New shirts are announced early July while the club pretend we haven't already seen the new kits.

But surely this is the first time we have closed the Megastore for a 'Stoke Check' (sic)?!

Good work Mike!

The likes of CMZ are completely wrong to believe the current strategy maximises profit.

Common sense:

1. Engage & involve fans in the decision process

2. Be transparent & honest with fans

3. Instead of bad management resulting in the club having to suppress supporters creating a buzz around the new kit, how about some forward thinking, and incentivise those who do 'promote' online with a link to get early purchase, a discount, or a limited edition of the kit

One day the world will wake up and see that good brand management is actually just good common sense, and these overpaid bureaucrats are simply a tax we no longer need to pay!!
