loyalroyaldaz In because i always will be but this is a bit of a piss take imho.
Renewals are £25 dearer.
Okay so they have lowered the price for new season ticket holders but how many of them are there likely to be ?!!
In essence i think the Loyal 16000 or so will renew but at £25 more then they paid last year...

Yes, they're £25 more expensive than last year, if you took the early bird offer, but that IMO was a bargain, because for me that renewal was actually £25 cheaper than in 2010/2011...

I'm paying the same this year for myself as I did in 2010/11, the only difference is for my boy, whose ticket is £26 more than for the last two years (£125 instead of £99) - hardly a piss take?

Unbelievable Jeff True, However I think I heard that for a Bayern Munich season ticket it is something like £100. Hopefully other countries/clubs will be able to follow their example!

The cheapest adult season ticket for Bayern Muenchen this season was €120 (£101.36 as of today), for the standing section behind both goals.
The cheapest seats were up in the gods and were €300 (£253.42)
They also had seats available for €450 (£380.11), €550 (£464.58) and €650 (£549.05).

Remember there's only 18 teams in the Bundesliga, so only 17 home games.

If you look at it percentage terms it would seem that way!

winchester_royal Bayern offer 100 quid season tickets because if they didn't they wouldn't fill the less desirable parts of the stadium. If they could get away with charging as much as clubs like Arsenal do and still sell out then they would.

There are people at Bayern who'd disagree with you :

He would say that though wouldn't he?

I do agree that with their attendances they could probably push up prices quite a bit without damaging the numbers that turn up, but just because he comes out with a lovely bit of PR spin doesn't make it true.

I've no idea of the elasticity of their demand etc, but I'm sure there is a point that those £100 season tickets wouldn't sell and that does play some part in their pricing.

Germany do have a lot of good things about their football though, you really can't knock it.

All the same, Bayern's comments are true - 2 million makes sod all difference to a top club like that. Perhaps the likes of Arsenal, ManU, ManC, Liverpool, Chelsea etc. should take note....

The website has been playing up for weeks and the club haven't done a thing about it. Best to just give them a call tomorrow mate. No rush though, you have until 28th June I think.

Does anyone know how it works with movers day? Currently have 3 season tickets but one slightly separate from the other 2. Do you buy the tickets first then wait for mover's day? Seems the most logical way but never done this before so no idea how it works!!

I'm in a similar boat to you.

From what I understand, there are two options available to us.

1) Move now. Essentially you renew your season ticket at a different seat location, but due to the reservation of the current STHs seats there aren't many seats available. Basically no chance of getting a group of seats together in the East Stand.

2) Renew your current seats and move on mover's day. This way, all the seats of current STHs who have not renewed will be available to pick from. But if there are no good groups of seats available you will be stuck with your current years seats.

As far as I can tell, there is such a paucity of choice of seats available due to the reservation for current STHs that there is very little advantage to moving now unless you're all happy to have junky seats. Up to you I guess.
