Sun Tzu There is a league rule that means we have to change our name, just in case any other team called Reading joins the league.

Hence we have our new name on the kit this season.

There is some nice gold trim added (at no extra cost) to celebrate our new name.

Congratulations on your new job at Reading FC's marketing department.

I wasn't aware they were taking renewals yet? I'll wait until I hear if the Chairman is up for next season before renewing. They really need to sort it out on there.

That Morton kit is truly plastic. But then they are a small time club. I would love to see ours like the one I designed but I fear without changing to Nike or forcing Puma to throw away the templates it won't happen.

'greed. I've begun to dislike Puma over the last few years. Ever since they forced the back panel on us, in fact. The white kit they did for us was quite good though.

As a few have said on here, i'd just like a simple hooped shirt without any of the gimmicky bits we've had for the last few seasons.

I particularly don't want that 'v' thing that a lot of Puma shirts seem to have next season. I didn't like it when I first saw it and then I read in a paper that from a distance it makes it look like they're a cape which made me dislike it even more.

Brentford seem to have got away without it on their Puma shirt.

I'm amazed Morton fell for Andy West's lies, someone should tell them

How exactly did they force it upon us? They design an annual template(s) and we accept or decline. We can pay more to have something else made, but we don't.

So you complain that the club doesn't change the shirt and at the same time complain that you're being forced to buy a new shirt.

Make your mind up.

New shirt for £25 via the offer is a fab deal in my book - will look to purchase whatever the design.

I think it's still over priced, same as £30 for a match ticket is over priced.

But in both cases I'd rather pay what we are being offered than £50 !

What? I'm not complaining, you idiot!
I've been happy with the kits for a few years now.

Sorry, I was just assuming that you weren't happy spending tax-payers' money of £40 shirts every year.

I've got the one made by Brookes. Which was later 'made' by Pelada. Although all they did was stitch a Pelada badge over the Brookes sign.

What are the latest Puma kits looking like so far? That should give us an idea of what we're looking at.

Here are a couple - the 'v' thing seems to be the main feature of the Puma kits (Bordeaux and Spurs below) although as above, Brentford haven't got it.

I assume i'm allowed to post the images from Football Shirt Culture....?

I can't see either of those templates working for a hooped shirt, especially the first one. This home kit has hoops that go all the way around, so that couldn't work... he hopes.
