Do you think if everyone did that the club would get a clear and consistant message. Think I'll ask if I can have the work MELTDOWN underneath the number.

That doesn't suggest they hate the kit? It suggests they like trusox, which they all used last season and would like them to move into kit design because the quality is so good.

reading_fan Perhaps the club have realised that by putting a plain back on the shirts they flog more names and numbers so can bring in an extra £10 or so per shirt.

Bloody hell you're probably right! Seems so obvious when you think about it. Classic RFC cunning.

Would anyone put a name & number on the back of a shirt just because it was plain?

OK, I know there must be such people, but couldn't we just put them into one area to make it easier to point and laugh?

I'm not sure if it does work that way, but I'm certain it works in the reverse, because I won't be getting any home kit with a plain back, because it'd look arse without name and number, which I don't want. And I quite want a new one and have done for a couple of seasons. They've just done shit plain backs or stupid massive hoops so I've saved my money in the hope they eventually produce something that isn't utter turd.

Even the one in 2009/10 had a stupid fooking V thing on the shoulders and collar.

They're all grown men who wear football shirts, why are we taking them seriously?

Maybe they want to fit more sponsors on it.

Drenthe's shirt for today's game against Wycombe.

The Royals will have to go missing to accommodate a players name in the league, or maybe we wont have names..?

Also the Marussia logo looks very cheap!

At first I thought it looked pretty solid, but realised today that the main body of the away shirt is a different shade of black to the neck and shorts!

It's a hoop too low in my opinion. The Royals needs to go and move it up a bit when the names are added.
