I think it should have a larger blue hoop around the waist for a slimming effect

Thomas L'Heureux Thought I'd make Kes' mock-up look a bit more realistic. Not too shabby:

I'd love that!

Here is a question .....

Football shirts are obviously expensive, for this example lets say £40 a go.

If the club was to bring out a new shirt and keep the same design for 5 years but it cost you £150, would you buy it? I.e. saving £50 over buying a new different one each year.

Would be different for kids because they are obviously still growing, this example is for adults.

No. Even £40 is a waste of money.

why are they so expensive- id imagine, looking at the quality that they are made in some far east sweat shop for 20 p each- how on earth do they arrive at £40 quid as a price?

I tend to buy a top every other 3 seasons, so this year I'm tempted if it's nice

No Fixed Abode

Out of this entire thread, I wish RFC would make this kit with red upon the back... like the old days.

If they did, wouldn't need to purchase another after it, but that's why they won't make a perfect kit

Friday's Legacy is that it? I'm pleasantly surprised and may actually part with some money for one this season. of course that disappointing bit is we might finally have a nice shirt but in 12 months it'll be replaced again. there's bound to be a back panel, but fingers crossed we can buy without before they add the panel for tv fixtures as istr they did last summer.

Nah m9, its a mock up of Sportings from last season

Reverse the colours and it would be aces, although teh blue could do with being a touch lighter IMO.

That Lazio one is horrific.

i'm probably about due a new shirt (mine's pre promotion) so if it's good I may well purchase... though I think I tend to get home and away, roughly every 6 years.

Is it going to be the back end of July before we see the new shirts again?

I never understand why we're made to wait so long when other clubs and literally months ahead of us in both reveiling the new kits and selling them.

Puma have manufacturing slots at their factories, and the slot you get depends upon how many you commit to buy over the season. We sell fewer so we get lower down the priority list.

That's how it was a few years ago, not sure what factors influence it now.

Thanks Dirk.

I'm sure though that I've seen other Puma kits from arguably lesser clubs released already.
