Platypuss Now seen a few home shirts "in the flesh". Absolutely rancid and manages to make last year's effort look half-decent in comparison.

Away shirt isn't bad.

Agreed.

Yet again the quality and fit just makes it look even worse in the flesh than I'd imagined from the pictures.

It just looks like a very cheap rip off you'd buy on holiday.

Another amazing example of incompetence on the commercial/retail management side of the club. New shirts now on sale but could be a problem if you want something printed on that appalling white panel - they haven't got any '1's or '.'s !!

They have had all summer to get their act in gear, kit is released long after many other clubs but they still can't get their acts in gear and ensure that they have sufficient lettering available to print all permutations of squad names and numbers!

Quality and fit of the female shirts is very good. The only thing that lets them down is that sodding awful plain white back. Could have been a great kit with the addition of some blue on the back!

Not too keen on the Waitrose logo being printed on rather than actually being part of the shirt like the last few years

Don't like the ghey white side bits either. If having plain white backs wasn't enough we have even less hoop this year than previous years

It gets more shit every time I look at it.

There needs to couple hoops on the bottom of the back at the very least.

Great thing is that they haven't learned a thing from last year when they also didn't have enough .'s

These look nice, but were they usually part of the shirt (for the player issue ones) or were they patches like the fan ones

Why on earth would anyone want a SkyBet Football League patch on their arms?

Pretty sure they've always been patches regardless of actual/replica shirts.

Will they allow the SkyBet patches on youth shirts? Isn't there a rule against clubs printing betting adverts on kids' stuff?

Having properly seen that home shirt now, I'd say it looks OK from the front and OK from the back, but from the side it looks bloody awful.

The way the white curves around could almost be designed to accentuate anyone who's got the slightest gut on them (and mine is far more than "slight"!)

Thought the backs looked awful, with Royals, Marussia, name and number in the dressing room shots, released yesterday. Actually looked better than feared in the flesh today.
