I was there at Elm Park Burnley have sold out for both legs according to their website.

No they haven't.

EDIT:

As the post above has quoted, there are still seats available to Burnley supporters for the first leg. However, they have sold out their allocation for the second leg.

With a capacity of 22,546 and only about 1400 for the away leg, it's no great shocker.

It's already been pointed out that you got the away leg wrong. You've also got the home game wrong as the capacity of Turf Moor has been reduced recently. I think it's about 21000 but I'm not sure.

Burnley sold out their last few remaining tickets for Saturday's match at 9.30 this morning: just a few unclaimed season ticket holders seats were left. I have the pleasure of all my in-laws being rabid Burnley fans: as usual, we'll meet up at my mother-in-law's and travel to Turf Moor together.

To say this is their biggest game in years would be an understatement. Not since they won promotion back to the old Division 1 in 1971 (I think) has their town been so up for a game. Turf Moor is a good old-fashioned Lancashire ground and the atmosphere will be stunning. I hope we make a great start and quieten them down a bit, because at Turf Moor the crowd really is an extra player.

Oh, and they have the best, absolutely the best, pies.

It would more than likely be a result of the big screen they've installed directly behind the away end.

It is - I just didn't bother to mention it.

Thought long and hard about this one but for various reasons (partly work related) have had to miss out. There's some merit in only the hard-core away fans being there anyway - in my experience less is more if it means the moaning minnies are absent. Tuesday will be more of a worry - we're swapping seats next season and the temptation to verbally lash out at people who have been on the players' backs all season might be too hard to resist.

We'll be looking for teenage-friendly pubs in town to catch the game (son's 15). Any recommendations appreciated.

Im in, principally because Im on a guilt trip, but maybe the numbers are indicative of our future; in that the support of Reading when they arent playing well is less than half that compared to when we are.

To be fair, going to watch Reading in the play-offs is a bit like stopping on the hard shoulder to take a look at an accident on the other carriageway.

Would love to go, but looking at nightmarish journeys by train or coach and the cost (£80 quoted for train), I'll watch the box, thanks. :(

We've played better when there are less fans there at away games.
