North Somerset Royal
Pepe the Horseman
North Somerset Royal 5:20 KO Sat 18th according to Charles Watts

That would be superb and very dangerous in equal measures.

@Stuart_Roach: @charles_watts confirmed it's a tea-time kick-off. Bold decision by Beeb

Who is Stuart Roach, and how does he know this?

Royal Lady Saturday would suit us better - plus I get a whole day of drinking in before the game

Yep same here, though i'm in two minds about doing the drinking thing beforehand this time. Wherever I happen to be, whether i'm going to the game or not, if I drink before a Reading game on the day itself, the game always seems to be shit! Think i'd rather save the drinking for after if there's something to celebrate, even with the kick-off time making it a bit trickier.

WoodleyRoyal think the difference was our woeful record in the playoff finals and i'm sure alot of people thought, i can't be arsed to go, we will only lose again. Where as this match is basically a day trippers paradise - result doesn't matter and against a big team too, i fully expect this to sell out much faster than the playoff game

Massive +1 to this. Wasn't 100% sure at first whether I wanted to go to the play-off final in 2011, and after the fiasco of trying to get tickets on the Saturday must admit if it wasn't for one or two people on here on Sunday morning saying I should go for it and get tickets and that I wouldn't regret it, i'm not sure I would have gone. Wouldn't say I regretted it at the time, although I didn't consider it to be a positive experience, wasn't really looking forward to going to see England there the following Sat (got ticket when I wasn't even sure we'd make the playoffs) but i'm certainly glad I went now, for various reasons.

Hopefully, assuming I can get a ticket, i'll enjoy the day more this time with less at stake.

Stranded
bobby1413 Update on tickets: http://www.readingfc.co.uk/news/article ... 44220.aspx

Basically:

Initial allocation is 31'500

Club have been offered chance of a larger allocation and have said yes to this

Semi-final date & kick-off time will be announced on Thursday 19th March at the earliest

Season Ticket holder sale likely to begin on Tuesday 24th March

The Ryan's Royals article on the website, says that wearing the special shirt and the events on the 11th April will be a fitting send off for the team seven days before the semi final.

Probably just a typo, but could suggest the game in on the 18th.

That's hardly accurate seeing as the club play Bournemouth on the Tuesday before the semi.

No as i remember having to give my Dad's ST number over to get 2 tickets

Found this:
"Reading have been allocated 39,000 tickets for the Wembley final. Season ticket holder will be able to buy tickets from 9am tomorrow. Subject to availability, tickets will go on sale to the general public on Monday with a limit of four tickets per transaction"

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=106157#p2926951

• We will have 39,002 tickets located in the West half of the stadium.
• Season ticket holders will be able to buy from 9am on Thursday and Friday of this week, two tickets available for every season ticket holder.
• Members booking period will be Saturday and Sunday, one per membership.
• Subject to availability, general sale will begin on Monday, four tickets per transaction.

Exactly how it should work this time round too...i remember us still not totally selling out when it got to Sunday

Ah - apologies then. I left the ticket booking to a mate and we bought a load of non-season tickets holder ones at the same time so i assumed it was an open process.

No worries. I was doubting my own memory of the PO ticket process but I definitely got tickets for three plastics - just couldn't remember if I'd had to w8 for general sale to do so. Obv not.

Took quite some trawling to find the proof though.

Dodd me if required, but looking at last year:

Saturday’s fixture on 12 April, which kicks-off at 5pm, will see The FA Cup holders Wigan Athletic given an allocation of 22,807 while Arsenal receive 42,882.
Read more at http://www.thefa.com/news/the-fa-cup/20 ... Ouv0smI.99

If split equally that's 32845, only 1,345 more than our initial allocation. Can't imagine that another 1,500 is all that is class as a 'larger allocation' - surely pointless?

In 2013 the allocation was 31,800 each, so it doesn't really look like we have many more tickets coming our way?

Have we decided if it's two per season ticket yet, and whether or not the Huddersfield games counts for a free ticket (I jest).

I think that it is outrageous that season ticket holders get first dibs on the semi final tickets. They already tend to have the best seats at the Madstad and now some of you seem to think they should also get first choice for Wembley. Just put the seats on general sale - first come first served.

They have the best seats because they paid for them lol

I am not even a season ticket holder, and I dont have enough royalty points to get tickets since I live in Northern Ireland but jesus people stop being so sour.
