I can't help but feel that the club have acted with unnecessary haste in applying a price freeze and inviting April renewals for ST holders

If they had waited for Southampton's inevitable promotion they would have been able to allocate a further 'platinum' match for which I would happily have paid extra.

Was your money really burning that much of a hole in your pocket?!

If you were that keen to offload it, you could have lent it to me for a couple of months!

Seal I spoke to someone at the ticket office yesterday about moving my season ticket. It doesn't appear that there will be an official 'movers week', but they said that the best thing to do is write in with your specific request when renewing your ticket.

My aim is to untite two seperate groups of 3 season ticket holders, so fingers crossed...

Bit late now but you might have stood a better chance of achieving that had both groups proved themselves to be thoroughly unpleasant neighbours over the course of the season!

I'm pretty sure one of the groups has...

Do you go to home cup and away games? You could have the record number of Royalty Points. I will be waiting to nearer the June 15 deadline before I renew.

I've renewed mine on the Premiership Barclaycard. 0% interest for life of the season ticket balance so it makes no difference to me and the club get a bit of money early.

Been putting aside some money for last couple of months, as a 17-21 (£385) wasn't expecting too much of an increase from last season.

Currently got 846 points, but the likes of handbags_harris & floyd_streete will be points ahead of me.

Is there a way when renewing online to choose that you want cup games done automatically?

That is only true if the season ticket is the only thing on the credit card. If you use it for other things or already have a balance on it then any money you pay each month goes off of the season ticket balance first.

I've got 824, and I've not renewed yet.
The two you mentioned probably have about 50 more than me.

It will be. I got it for this purpose only.

I don't know if I can afford one for next season.

I'll probably just go to every game individualy as it's only £30 extra overall

I have debated this too, but the trouble at the moment is that you can't always guarantee getting a seat. When the expansion is built it might be easier.

I renewed today.

I could have done it online, but I wanted to pay for the home ST on 1 Credit Card and the cup/away ST on a different card. However, they are only doing home ST's at the mo... if you want away or cup ST then you need 2 wait for the mail out as you need to sign a form and send it back.

Tip: those struggling to find the £££ visit: http://www.barclaycard.co.uk/products/a ... QXIRF13732

0% on STs... lovely!!

So you can afford to pay extra to have the inconvenience of having to sweat on match tickets each week ?

Surely the wise move is to save money (and help your budget) by buying a season ticket...

Unless you aren;t eligible for the 0% credit card then surely the ST is the option ?

anyone that does not renew will have enough points to get a seat at all home games next season I would have thoughtall ST holders should have at least 300 points, it would be hard for anyone to have that many from attending games just this season IMHO.

Not if we draw a big club in the cup they won't...

If 3000 people decide to not buy a ST and rely on points to get match tickets then about 1000 of them will miss out every week.

There are only 2000 match tickets available - and no way of knowing how many people will be competing for them.

I don;t see the numbers of ST dropping by much as for everyone who doesn;t renew there will be someone to take their place.
