Seal So in summary, after 15 odd pages:-

- No one really knows where our profit goes
- I'm glad I'm not an accountant

No. In summary the profit goes on operating costs (including players), improving infrastructure and offsetting previous loses, debts and loans.

I'm not an accountant, but that much is easy to follow.

I think you missed the point of my post....maybe not so intelligent after all. 15 pages debating accounting practices and what is and isn't presented in the accounts, isn't really what I feel the original poster had in mind.

With a fans hat on (which is after all why we use this board), I am far more interested in discussing club policies and agendas, and how they impact our transfer activity, rather than read a load of accountants debating their knowledge of fixed assets and depriciation. Still each to their own.

1) I didn't claim I was intelligent (although I am :P )
2) I haven't got involved with any obscure accountancy debates because I'm not an account and it's meaningless to me.
3) You don't need to be an accountant to work out where our profits have gone. Hence why I can work it out.
