Apparantly the season ticket allocation is 18000, which leaves 2500 for away fans and approximately 3500 for individual match sales to home fans

No, I think they are added as soon as you purchase. I bought mine before the end of last season and the points were showing on my account pretty much straight away.

Mine went on as yellow parking rather than season ticket this season.

It appears that the lowest price ticket doesn't factor in the membership discount and assumes you buy on the gate. For example you could get a ticket for the Fulham game right now for £32.
