I'm not about to start posting on here again but there is a note on the Cardiff City messageboard warning that there was an accident on the M4 at junction 14 last note resulting in two lanes being closed off between junction 13 and 14. Repairs will be carried out sometime on Monday but expect delays.
Thought it worth mentioning. Best to leave home a bit earlier.

Live report via Schards from Cardiff - there are about 200 RFC fans who can't get in to the ground because Cardiff don't have the tickets to sell, they are coming via coach from Reading!

They just got into the ground now. We normally buy tickets before the day - so weren't aware of that LWJr.

yes, 1,000 - 1,200 is my estimate. This suprised me considering presales were reported at 500.

If the left over tickets are only returned to the home clubon the day, it makes you wonder why they stop selling them 4-5 days before the game.

Money saving exercise, god forbid that football would use an overnight courier, after all for a box of tickets, full even, it would cost all of 12 pounds.

Does it? Surely it's exactly the reason they say it is - because they can't guarantee that the post will let them get to people over the Xmas/NY period. They were still on-sale to personal caller right up to 30th Dec.

But not on New Year's Eve when we had a home game. Thankfully Cardiff weren't charging the extra £2 on the door are own club had stated.
