Mr.Swainey
26-10-06 Our away support is so so poor.

£20 - just down the road & bank holiday weekend and we can't even get 1,000 going.

Shocking IMO

It's a shit ground and all the proper lads will be down Reading Festival getting absolutely steaming.

True I suppose...if you're a 17 year old....

Wonder how many Leeds will take away with the festival too....

If you wanted to show support for the team you follow then you would... If you want to claim to support Reading but don't actually then I wouldn't.

It's the £60 train journey that is making me question which side of that particular fence I sit on

Not that it matters but I don't want to drive. I spend half my working week driving and I don't want to spend about 5 hours on a day off doing it.

No it doesn't matter. But you either want to go or you don't and right now you are just making excuses for not. The majority of us spend our working week commuting. If the train was cheaper I would go via train. But they aren't, and I still want to support the team, so I will suck it up and drive it without whinging.

It's also a bank holiday meaning you should have an extra day off anyway to make up for the one you will 'waste' by driving 5 hours

Don't wanna go. Got better things to than spend 5 hours on the motorway to watch 90 minutes of football

Thanks for helping to make my mind up

It's the £60 train journey that is making me question which side of that particular fence I sit on

Split tickets at Swindon. £24.50 Reading to Swindon return, £20.50 Swindon to Cardiff return. As long as it stops at SWI each way, all good.
Also, cardiffbrewfest.co.uk

Thanks Christof. I did look at split but it came out as more - I think £27 each.

Will look now though - appreciate your tip
