Mr Angry If we sell out our allocation, we will be doing well!

Lower league opposition.

Went there last season.

A toilet of a ground/location.

Knowing that we will be seeing the reserves playing.

And yeah, got my ticket today.

Not been to St Andrews before, but going on Sat. Thought the ground looked ok but am I wrong? Also, speaking of location, does anyone know a decent boozer on the way to the ground?

Just got tickets for Brum, I was waiting on the phone for 20 secs! Great improvement from the ticket office. He said there on their way to selling the 2,800 but no chance for the other 2,000.

Got ours today, given the "reserves" play this evening and the first team have Wigan on Tuesday I think it could be an interesting line up that Coppell puts out on Saturday. Ticket office lad said just iver 2000 sold so far, didn't expect we'd ask for the extras

As of half an hour ago, all tickets from the initial allocation are sold.

There will, though, be 2000 tickets available on Saturday to pay on the day.

Reading FC ticket Office Birmingham v Reading
FA Cup 4th Round
3pm, Saturday 27th January
After selling out of an initial allocation of 2,100, the Club will receive a final 700 extra tickets on Thursday 25th January, and they go on sale at 1pm on that day in person from the Madejski Stadium Sales Centre.

Tickets can also be ordered by phone on 0870 999 1871 but you must collect your purchase from the Sales Centre.

If these tickets are all sold then nonewill be available at St Andrews on the day of the game.

Tickets are on sale on the following Royalty Points basis:

Thursday 25th January - 121 Points or more
Friday 26th January - 5 Points or more

Selling these final tickets from Madejski Stadium will help avoid supporters travelling in numbers who may be disappointed, and allow supporters still to collect Royalty Points while taking advantage of the reduced pre-match price.
.

What a load of shit.
I've got mates who have under 121 points and want to come to this game. The club are telling them they can't go if they sell out because for some reason over 2000 people are going to travel without tickets if it was pay on the day. Its all about 'collecting Royalty points'

I'm disgusted, frankly...

Hmmm, I was going to this, but have just read on the OS that the 700 extra tickets they have requested will be available from tomorrow, in person.
If I want to phone and book I can, but I have to collect from the sales centre.

So, exiles, who don't have over 121 members points are going to struggle.

Wonder how much it will be for a train ticket from Manchester to Birmingham VIA Reading :?

I'm currently writing to the club.
I have 4 friends who want to come with me from Winchester, and if the club stick with the 'none on the door policy' they're oxf*rd.

My ticket arrived this morning. Someone said something about away stand parking. Depends on the amount of away buses but if you get there early enough might get parked there

Write to the club and let them know you're not happy.
I've done it, I'd encourage other people to let them know that they've let us down.

One day to buy tickets, if you're under 121 points, is not enough.

Another shambles. If there are 2000 tickets going spare how can they justify not making it pay on the day?

They must be aware loads of RFC fans don't live in Reading and have no way of getting to the ground before Saturday.

It seems that, not for the first time, I might add, there's a difference between what the website is saying and what the people in the Sales Centre are saying.

From the speed which this initial 2100 sold out, and the demand for the next 700, I would be very disappointed if the remainig 2000 tickets aren't made available for sale on the day.

There would definitely appear to be demand for the whole 4800 tickets - if they're not available it'll be particularly disappointing.

There are several campaings going on to reduce ticket prices to a relaistic level, especially in the FA Cup with falling attendences - Burnley tickets were over-priced and it showed in the gate, as were tickets for the Birmingham v Newcastle 3rd round tie, and again the gate was low.

Steve Bruce said his bit, which fans agree with, and now we do have an FA Cup game priced appropriately - all power to Birmingham and Reading for agreeing this price. The fans are doing their bit and voting with their feet in large numbers, so for one of the clubs to not take the risk and put thee tickets on sale would be a real irony!
