Cypry Chatting to bloke in the ticket office yesterday and he said we're just shy of 14000 sold - pretty good for the Championship, should be looking at around 20k attendances for a significant proportion of games, particularly if it's going we'll on the pitch....

Not at £27 an adult ticket we wont. Too expensive.

I'm not so sure - by the time you add in away fans, hospitality, discounted group tickets for the kids teams who wave flags / play at half time you're probably approaching 17k anyway. And regardless of whether you think it's too steep, I bet we'll have a couple of thousand buy tickets for individual games, rather then commit to a ST (£27 for an adult isn't cheap, but it's not stupid, and with kids at £11 and concessions £19 we'll still have a few who can't make every game for whom, over the course of the season, buying individual tickets will work out cheaper).

I'm pretty confident we'll exceed 20k on at least a third of our home games this year...

Should've bought a season ticket.. Is it really £27 for an adult in the East, North and South stands? I thought it was about £24.

If we are at least in and around the play-offs I would think we will be close to 20k with that season ticket base.

Anywhere near automatic and they may as well start printing the half-season tickets now.... (yes I know).

:| It was about that, maybe £25, a couple of seasons ago and we did it. With fewer season ticket holders probably.

Almost gutted I've renewed after seeing this. The opportunity of going on the team board during a game without the chance of reading an Ian Royal post is almost too good a thing to pass up.

kiss kiss.

Rarely post while the game's in play btw. Pre-kick off, HT and FT. Too busy watching and chewing the fat with the cool kids in the chat room while the ball's being kicked in anger.

That's incorrect. The figure is now approaching 12k.

Funny that, the club confirmed otherwise a week or two ago (something about a sales record), and ticket staff confirmed to a few people on here we were at 13,500 some weeks ago, and since just under 14,000. But carry on.

They included late ST renewals in the figure. Actual number sold is nearer 12k. HTH.

Even if that sentence wasn't completely meaningless, why shouldn't renewals (whenever they happen to be made) count in the figure?
