Been here before, not paying for a ST to miss two thirds of the games. ANd it is not just cost, like so many I dont like how the sport is now. Even the guy getting manhandled at Bolton pizzes me right off, why would I want to put money into a sport that gets twats like that to steward the grounds?

Actually cock end the cost is relevant as well, football is not worth £25 a game IMHO.

As far as a ST is concerned I would miss too many games to be worth buying one, so am stuck with individual match prices, which have gone up to sily money, while the ST is good value so long as you only miss a game or two.

There is a footballer about to be sold for more than RFC is worth, I find that crazy, and that ups the cost all the time. It is not so long ago that folk here were moaning about Ipswich charging £27 I think it was for away fans, a few years down the line and we are now at that price too.

Still enough go so it matters not , they will always lose a few along the way, thats business.

Ian Royal Then it isn't the cost is it.

Oh and I cant afford a ST even if I wanted one, business is now down 75% from 2011, two years in a row now. But hey you work in a field where they hike the prices and folk have no choice but to pay, not like we can say no or change supplier.

My view is simple to read. I can't afford a season ticket then miss half the games. And I don't think football is worth the prices charged. If I had the money I would not attend games. Hence just one game in two seasons. Which was bad value imho. I dont have four hundred to spend on football.. many nd as the club I might target those that can.0I can listen on the radio to get my fix now. Which I choose to do sometimes, luckily I can see which direction the team are going by that and telly highlights. I don't0 need to actually watch a game to have a view on things any more

compared to other arts, sports and entertainment id think youd find it very hard to argue that.

however the financial "worth" of such things as sport, arts, and entertainment it is of course a debate that could go on for ever

I don't need to argue it though. It is my opinion and a strong reason I no longer go. I would not suggest others should not go because of it.

I was just asking him to make up his mind about whether he couldn't afford it or whether he didn't think it was good enough value. Two different things. Either is perfectly valid.

Either way it's pretty clear he's arguing it's too expensive, a sentiment many on here will agree with.
