biscuitman Please let this be unreserved.

I can't see it being unreserved, given you need to drop the allocation by 10% to allow for movement.

Tony Le Mesmer
Red £22!

Seems pretty fair to me. Big Cup tie, furthest they've ever been.

Yeah fair enough from their point of view...

But in terms of value for money on the face of it it seems like a rip-off.

However, when you consider you'll probably have a lot more fun going there then you would have at the Mad Stad it's probably a decent price!

Compared to paying whatever you do to get into the mad stad these days, yes it's bargain of the century.

But then so would paying someone to cut off my arm with a rusty blunt knife.

I imagine you'd get a discount for buying in bulk.

Agreed. The home support for that game did not sell out. The away suipport did. Perhaps dropping the price might maximise the home support for a change.

If that's aimed at me - I'm not moaning I'm just shocked! But there's plenty of fools who are easily parted with their money in both Reading and Newcastle it seems. Each to their own.

I think the 1800 points level is quite interesting. I've had a ST since the points started; do a reasonable number of away games; and now have 1880 pts. So that means that a long term STH who does cup games and the odd away game (like Arsenal) won't be the first tier.

Top tiering for the TO.

Out of interest, how have you folks with 1800+ points built them up?

I have had a season ticket since we moved to the Mad Stad and have been a member of STAR every season up until this.

I haven't missed many home cup games. Away games have been relatively sparse (an average of maybe 3 or 4 a season, although all home games are an away trip for me!) but they only carry 5 points and only then if bought through the TO.

Despite the above, I still only have 1583 points!!

I've got 1971.

Just a general run of STs, away games, STAR memberships and unattractive home cup games over the years.

How many tickets for away games do you on average buy through the RFC TO?

I reckon that you must have been to some pretty unattractive home cup games/friendlies!! Good luck to you (no sarcasm intended).

BTW, it would have been far more appropriate to have 1871!

Maybe points should max out at that very significant number or maybe that should be the barrier you have to clear to buy on the first day of ticket sales!

I know, I realised when I looked it up I had 100 too many!

Most of the League Cup games at home for the first 6-7 seasons of points, and about 15-20 away games per season. Always buy through the TO.
