Dirk Gently
Wizard Bought mine over the internet a few hours ago for me and a couple of mates using the "friends and family" thing.
Should I be worried that no seat number has appeared on the purchase history?

On the email it says the following:
All values are in UKP. You have purchased the following items:

Wolves v Reading-30/09/0819:45.Seat:000/0000/0000/0532-aaaaaaaaaaaReg No (00000xxxxxxx) 28.00
Wolves v Reading-30/09/0819:45.Seat:000/0000/0000/0533-aaaaaaaaaaaReg No (00000xxxxxxx) 28.00
Wolves v Reading-30/09/0819:45.Seat:000/0000/0000/0534-aaaaaaaaaaaReg No (00000xxxxxxx) 28.00

(Names and customer numbers edited out)

Cheers, don't buy too many tickets - cant make too many matches, so can't remember if it is normal to have no seat number or not yet. Thanks again.

I think the seat numbers are put in when the tickets are actually sent to you - they probably allocate the internet sales in a batch and send them out then.

Cheers. 3 x tickets for Wolves v Reading just dropped through the letterbox!

Well I'm pretty fed up. I bought tickets for both Wolves and Preston matches on-line last Monday, which hadn't arrived by the time I left home to go to yesterday's match. I mentioned to the ticket office that they hadn't been received and was told that they had been posted out on Thursday. Lo and behold when I got home last night there was an envelope from the football club containing ... a Preston ticket. So it looks like I've just wasted £28 for the Wolves match ticket and £15 for the coach.

From a Wolves fan on 606:

I would hope that decent fans would not throw things at Mol, however the last 5/6 rows of seating in the away section is netted off( hence the reduction in away tickets) this means you are further away from the fans in the top tier...hope this makes sense

I'm pretty sure you can pay on the night. I may well go now but I need to check if that's the case by ringing Wolves tomorrow.

Upper West Ginger
Skyline
Upper West Ginger I'll be on the 22:39 ex Wolves (but getting off at Rugby ...)

Can I just extend my deepest sympathy to you.

Your condolences much appreciated.
At least I'll get home before midnight though ...

There is a bit more to Rugby than a large hole in the ground owned by a Mexican cement company ... but not a lot!

Yes I know, I lived there for 12 years. Best thing about Rugby were the road and rail links out of the place - but at least it wasn't Coventry...

Doesn't help that its a midweek game and people have to work for a living. Also im sure alot of people have been put off due to what happend at the playoff 1st leg a few years ago. So that's why we have only sold 400.

There might be a few people turning up and buying tickets on the day. We all know there are loads available so any Northern Royals might be going. I probably won't as have a bit of a cold and for the reasons you suggest.

I hope radioberkshire isn't blocked tonight!

Having said that im almost going, depending on my mate. I have got the ok to finish work at 3 then drive like a looney back to Reading from Southall, pick my mate up and then get upto Wolerhampton. The only problem it's all on my mate as he doesn't know if he can go yet.

Yeh i understand the work thing, i booked this day of work about 3 weeks ago. I cant wait for the game, although i wasnt there for the play-off game so didnt witness the fiasco. Was there in our promotion season though.

I'll be there at preston, it should only take me 10 mins to get to the ground rather than the normal 3 hours or so it takes for a home game.

Amazingly my Preston 'recorded delivery' has still not arrived. as Preston were not covering reprints, it was deemed best policy to sent these out recorded. The local sorting office have not got it and no failed delivery slip has been put through the door. I have now had to recontact the club to get another sent through to my workplace. The £5 cost (as i was informed) has been covered by the club.

How long do you think it will be until away tickets are loaded onto our season tickets and we scan them through just like at home. Most clubs seem to be fitting electronic turnstiles these days

Though a good idea, this would not be feasible. Away tickets are either bar code read or chip read tickets. These are specific to the allocation of tickets.
