Imagine paying £100 plus for a meal and game of footy and finding 300 rowdy singers there!!!

ROFL if that happened.

Schards#2 Weren't we told that the reason GU1 is always empty is that it is set aside for corporates who have some sort of hospitality package?

That was excuse #32 on the reasons why we are not selling out. Just below "the game was on a Satuday" and just above "the game wasn't on a Saturday"

I think it was actually said that in the PL there was a requirement for seats to be held for national sponsors and that area was where those seats were.

I'm not too sure any 'excuses' are needed for crowds at the moment. Tuesday may be a bit down though.

Indeed, so far twelve people have moved their seat to GU1. We only made the plans public on Monday so I'm happy with the progress so far. However my initial target was for 20-30 people to congregate and sing their hearts out, so we've some way to go. I've had no feedback from the local media as of yet, however the Reading Football Fancast have said they will give the details some airtime and coverage beyond Hob Nob.

STAR and the football club have no opposition to the details of the plans, and STAR have given us some encouraging words. However this will only work if the supporters get behind it and commit to moving their seat. In other news the Facebook group is steadily growing in numbers and I'm currently working on a website with further details.

I've been working on a very basic website and forum so we have a small web-presence. You can find this at http://www.biscuitboys.co.nr, if you have a spare five minutes please take a look.

Any suggestions on how we can further sread the word are most welcome. Come and join us!

Hi Stuffed Crust Pizza (can I call you that?)

I can't believe the local press haven't picked this up. You need to throw your net wider as there's a whole gang load of nutterz on OAE who would love to be a part of this and know nothing about it.

Do you know if GU1 has access for wheelchairs and/or head pointers?

Great Work Pizza.

I currently watch from the North Stand. I hope the club will let me move to GU1 with my carer (will they still be allowed in free?), i have a banning order from the East Stand and have missed the top notch banter ever since.

Hopefully this will catch on, will be great to have a 'Biscuit Boys - GU1' Flag at away games in years to come.

It's an excellent idea because the noise we make is too spread out between singing and non-singing people.

In that corner the noise would be really concentrated. A few hundred could be louder than thousands spread around the ground.

This is a terrific idea, and any cynicism flies in the face of complaints on this board about the lack of atmosphere in the stadium. Great that fans are trying to have a positive (legal and inoffensive) effect on the atmosphere. Good stuff.

For those not already in the know the Reading Football Fancast gave our GU1 plan some terrific coverage on this weeks Podcast. Presenters Alan and Paul have backed the idea and will be joining us on Good Friday in the upper west. They hope to bring some recording equipment so they can run a feature on the Biscuit Boys.

This is exactly the sort of coverage needed to help spread the word, very encouraging to hear. To listen and download the Podcast visit http://podcasts.footballfancast.com/reading_fancast/ or download it via iTunes.

Right people tonight and Saturday are big days for this experiment. Everyone needs to spread the word tonight to everyone around them and to whoever you can see is trying to make an effort. I will be doing my best in y26 so the more the better. I am still gutted i am away for the sheffield game but i will be doing my very best to do my bit
