Just spoke to my mate at the council and they're trying to make the roads safe. However he did say, that with freezing condition over tonight and tomorrow there is a 60/40 chance the game will be off.

Confirmed OFF according to my police officer source who has been stood down from duty on Saturday as a result. Sorry, I didn't make that clear on the team board which has perhaps now rightly been deleted until official confirmation from the club.

I know that RFC has had a lot of communication with RBC on whether it should go ahead. With the amount of snow/ice still on the roads and walkways then my guess would be a postponement

There is nothing official yet so the game is still on. Though if the police have been stood down presumably the club will let us in on the secret as soon as other official parties have been advised.

appologies if this has been asked elsewhere,but,is there much likelyhood of saterdays game being called off? theres nothing on the club web site,other than to say that equipment was being brought in on thursday to clear pathways etc. but i took this to mean for ticket sales,as it was in that section.loads of ice down here in southampton,so im guessing its as bad,or worse up there. i know that games are sometimes called off due to icy surrounding areas so any info would be appreciated. i,ve been looking forward to this one but dont relish the prospect of a wasted trip. thanks folks
