emmer green dave I am not re-newing for the following reason. We were a group of 80 who the football club named the tickets as Premier Club.We paid £645 for 4 seasons then in first season in Premier they moved us having charged £845.Then start of last season they said thanks for money we now consider Premier Club no longer viable. Why should I and all the others bother as they just want a quick buck.

I think he knows that and that's why he keeps banging on about selling up.

So if he know that, why does he keep on about how we will be up there competing with the best, moving to the next level etc etc when he knows thats not possible within the financial parameters he has set? Says one things, does another.

RoyalBlueZammo Season ticket bought.
URZ !!!!!!!!!
I think it's admirable the way some people are happy to let the club, rather than themselves, earn interest on their money by renewing earlier than they have to.
My money will be staying in my account and working for me until the very last moment! Even then, I shall let good old M&S give it to the club before I finally have to settle up a month later, at which point I shall get some money off my shopping in return!

rabidbee I have had a season ticket next to a mate for the last couple of years. He's decided not to renew, as he was missing too many games; it would also mean that we could get tickets more easily with other friends who aren't able to make every match. I'm now not sure what to do, whether to get my ticket and expect most games that he could find a place next to/near me, or not renew and just buy tickets together as a group every game. The latter wouldn't really be that big a deal, except that I really like my seat (even if it is next to cheeryoleary ), and I like having a season ticket. Besides which, if I do go to every home game, as I did last year, I'll save money. Hmmm...

You can mock all you like, but by keeping his money in his account for an extra month, he must earn anything up to £2 in interest. That sort of extra cash can change lives.

Take the p*ss all you like (and btw, with a decent account it's way more than £2 for the three tickets I've got to buy) but in my view, anyone who pays bills earlier than they have to is a mug. I guarantee you that RFC wait until the very last moment before paying theirs!! In the meantime, I'll have the first pint of the new season courtesy of the money I've saved.
