Blue Blood Sad to see some profiteering all around the ground already

Interesting to see Arsenal prioritising those fans attending away games (good for them) and already now will go to ballot for the rest!

How the hell do they have that many tickets for sale?

Notice how only a few specify which end they are in, so they blatantly don't have that many tickets.

paultheroyal
TBM Carltheroyal is obviously someone from the club who is pissed off the ticket staff have been selling tickets to non STH's

 Don't tell them anything, people.

Nail on the head.

7 PM's later from various I am shutting up shop on this one.

Next time I will just lie and say I got the one ticket.

Oh and by the way... I have not helped anyone out unknown to me.

Bye.
I've heard of someone else who got two tickets on one season ticket. Maybe it depends on who you know in the ticket office and/or who serves you.

TFF Folk on the radio queuing since 2am

That will be Ian Royal

Why would I need to queue for a ticket when I've got a radio?

Royal Lady I want to know how this happened and how Paultheroyal seemingly told the TO of his "dilemma" and they gave him an extra 2 tickets that they shouldn't have. :x

We have a dilemma too, as I've put on here and on classifieds - we bought the 4 we were able to with our STs online and are just hoping we can get another 2 from some kindly people. It's all wrong.

Maybe you should have queued in person and asked the club about an exception then.

Don't ask, don't get, moan about it later.

Good on the club and PTR for some good sense and flexibility being shown.

Oh shut up Ian - we don't live in reading anymore and why should those who queued be treated any differently to others. And LWJ I didn't have a meltdown I made one post about it and then one reply to you.

I seriously doubt our 'highly trained' ticket office staf have the ability to override the ticketing system. As there is yet to be proof that anyone has managed to get an extra ticket, I'm not worrying about it!

Had a conversation at the TO today. No one else at the adjacent windows. Explained I needed 6 tickets but had 5 ST plus a member card with 1700 points. Asked whether it might be possible to get all 6 tickets today rather than coming back tomorrow and was told that sorry, that was not possible. Asked to speak to a supervisor who again politely said it was not possible. I didn't push it, they were firm in saying they were not going to make an exception even though there was no one else around.
Not suggesting anyone else is telling porkies, in fact it's possible a few mistakes were made and because the club read HNA they spotted it and tightened things up.

IF they were going to do it, you'd need far more than that... I'd suggest relative who couldn't maintain his ST this year due to illness but has enough points to get a ticket reliably towards the end of the booking period, or a kid(s) who's got decent points but no ST.

It's not an unreasonable argument to say that by the time you could get all the tickets including the kid(s), there's a strong possibility you wouldn't be able to find enough seats together and you don't want to risk the kid(s) having to sit alone.

Sorting that out would be excellent customer service IMO.

notloyalenuffroyal I think tonight's update from the club will be very interesting.

Sold significantly over the 11,00 mark and we will know something isn't quite right.

It seems very unlikely that 100% of season ticket holders would buy on days 1 and 2 when some will want to sit with member card holders.

Strangely no update this evening on number of tickets sold......

I would suspect that is because they didn't shift anywhere near as many today! The numbers gone by Friday morning will be more interesting!

That scenario wouldn't fool me! If you are talking 6 tickets (attendees) then maybe you wouldn't get 6 together but the chances of a kid(s) having to sit completely on their own would still be pretty much zero. And maybe it's silly but I maintained one of our season tickets, even though it wouldn't be used that much by the prime holder, simply to ensure that they would be able to get tickets for the big games that they were able to attend.
