Newcastle Away

by bobby1413 » 30 Nov 2012 17:30

I appreciate this is some time away - on January 19th but I am looking around now. I'll be buying two tickets, one for me and one for someone with about 100-ish points.

I'm hopefully going up Friday 18th to stay two nights and coming back on Sunday 20th - to make a weekend out of it.

Anyone else planning on this trip?

In as well, ticket request already sent, so hopefully will get it through soon.

I just hope it doesn't end up like the Sunderland game...

That is bloody cheap Stuka. First year in the prem for me was £98 from Enfield. Then the shenanigans of a train breaking down, and an attempt to scam another £60 out of me due to it being 'rush hour' when i eventually was to arrive in London.

Booked train now for Friday 18th, coming back Sunday 20th.

Hotel booked for two nights also at about £85 for two people in one room.

My only concern with this is transport. It's January and judging by today's events when about a mm of sleet came down and temperatures were -2 degrees I'm worried about delays and transportation to the ground. Or even the match going ahead.
