No no no. They advertise it on here to get non-members to turn up and have to pay to be members. And they ask for questions from people who aren't members and can't go. THEN they refuse to tell anyone who wasn't there what happened for two months and even then it's just members who find out. Those they took questions from are not allowed to know the answers.

I always thought it was:

Rule 1 - STAR is always right
Rule 2 - In case of dispute refer to rule 1

I couldn't make tonight due to the nightmare M4. If someone fancies sharing tonight's topics that would be appreciated.

I know that various information can't be divulged but anything from tonight which can vaguely be shared? Or at the very least how did Adkins come across; was he any more open than he has tended to be in the press, and has it affected your expectations of the season ahead?

I've been to a number of these but this was, for me, the best.
To my surprise, the turnout was the biggest I have seen, it had to be delayed as more seats were brought in.
Nigel Adkins spoke more knowledgably about the game than any of the other managers I have heard before and this together with his track record - 4 promotions in 6 seasons plus two welsh championships with his first club, Bangor and I am impressed. I think we have a very good man.

My worry was that with a more patient passing game wanted we have been here before with Terry Burns and Brendan Rodgers but I think this will be different.I am sure Star will post a summary of the evening but since we were asked not to summarise the meeting on social networks I respect this. I don't want to attend a meeting where all we get are cliches or safe comments.

STAR don't allow it unfortunately.

After the last forum someone tried and I think had his STAR membership revoked.

This is where "plucky, little old Reading" get it wrong. We're no longer a parochial Berkshire club, we have pretensions to be a European/global "brand". Well, start treating the brand properly.

I won't bitch and moan about how much less of a plastic I am than 95 percent of you mongboard spaztards, but when we have a real opportunity to learn a little about the insight of the "management" first hand - and potentially ask questions - there's a complete non-plussed " we don't care about anyone outside a 50 miles radius of the RG postcode." Abysmal.

Despite all the perceived progressive developments of the club over the past decade, the complete incompetence of its communications never ceases to astound. Cretins.

Oh, and for the record, I have paid my 35 quid or whatever it is for the Official Shite premium access since it was launched and I probably logon maybe 15 times a year...... so STAR can stuff its tenner up in 'arris. They are both utter shoite.

Exactly. Pay the tenner lol - and the hour off work, £30 travel and 6 hours from SW18. What a donglord!
