If you book train from Reading to Mill Hill / Blackburn then it will be around £70 for adult fare. However, if you book separate tickets for the following legs (travelling on exactly the same trains) then you can shave more than £20 off the cost.

Return ticket Reading to Banbury £7.75 with a railcard
Single Banbury to Birmingham £8.50
Single Birmingham to Mill Hill £19.00
Single Mill Hill to Birmingham £8.00
Single Birmingham to Banbury £5.00

Total £48.25

(approx. £34 for those lucky to be young enough to have a student railcard)

Why did you buy 5 when you only needed 1?

There are methods of recording shows nowadays and if you dont posess the technology, the BBC will do it for you and place it on the very same internet you wrote this post on.
Not that I think going to Blackburn is a great idea, because it isnt.

OUT.

I’m not one for ticking them off the list and all that but Blackburn is one ground I’m happy to do just the once.
