Issues logging in on a mobile

Not a clue where to put this thread but this probably isn't right so please move accordingly.

I'm unable to log in to the forum on my phone and, quite frankly, it's ruining my life.

When I try to log in I get message "You exceeded the maximum allowed number of login attempts. In addition to your username and password you now also have to solve the CAPTCHA below."

Issue is, none of the CAPTCHA or login boxes appear. WTF do I do?????

Yeh turns out the new mobile friendly site isn't very mobile friendly.

I can login okay on my iphone, I use the web browser (safari) rather than any app.

I believe as CAPTCHA is Flash based it will not work on a mobile device. As you have exceeded your login attempts my advice would be to reset from a desktop and change your password

works fine on my android
log in with your captcha on a pc
then come back and do it on your phone

Using chrome in iOS, there is some kind of bug when you reply and start typing, the text box deselects itself after a few characters.

The determined nobber will select it again and start typing again multiple times to complete a post - but I suspect many won't have bothered.

Oh and the "Posts been made since you started typing" thing is broken, on desktop and mobile.

Sorted it by doing as suggested - logged out and in on my desktop and it reset.

Has no one been tempted to make an app? Pretty sure there's loads of forum templates that would make the site far easier to navigate on mobile devices. I've never hugely liked the idea of apps as everything seems to have one, including things that really don't need it. However this site is a nightmare on mobiles. For example the page selection only works at the bottom of the page for me.

I've yet to see a forum done well on mobile TBH.

No doubt part of the reason posters are leaving in their droves.

For some reason, for the last few days, I haven't been able to click the discussion part of this website (I know, i should probably see it as a blessing) when using Safari. It's fine on my iphone and using Chrome.

Any ideas?
