Should be a sell out. OPTIMISTIC. Most important game for about 5 years. PLAY-OFF FINAL?

The FA Cup is far, far more important that the playoffs. Fact.

I passionately believe in the FA Cup. You will see this if you look elsewhere in FA Cup related threads.

We know that, but to say a 5th round game is bigger than a PO Final, is so obviously bait.

To me it is bigger as I would rather win the FA Cup or at least make a final than be promoted. I hate the Premier League with a passion and want the club to stay in the Championship.

Old Man Andrews That is 100% genuine, I absolutely do not want Premier League football. I remember the last time we went up, it was horrific. Stadium full with Liverpool, United fans in the home sections, massive price hikes for away games, less games. I love the Championship, it's a really exciting league. Who really wants to see us get promoted and thumped every week?

I agree, yes, I would rather win a FA Cup Final than get promoted.
FA Cup final would, probably, be a once in a life-time thing, whereas promotion is (or should be) a half-decent possibility every season.
But we're not talking about an FA Cup final here, are we? It is a 5th round game. If we were playing Sheffield United in an FA Cup semi-final, I'd certainly consider it one of the biggest games in the club's history. But a 5th round game, with so many of the big clubs still in it, nah not really.
