Another garden shed of a ground with a crap allocation. Hopefully most people who want to go will get a ticket.

Won’t be going as will be playing cricket, but for anyone staying over can highly recommend Ijazz Indian restaurant just outside the town centre - very very good food.

Always previously booked my train split ticketing myself but this time used trainsplit.com ( also known as splitticketing.com) who i would highly recommend. Very easy to navigate website and book.

Travel info provided by Wrexham for their last pre-season match (would expect the same to apply to our match)

PARKING

Matchday parking is available in the Wrexham University car park next to the ground, with access via the Plas Coch or Crispin Lane. The car park will cost £10 and is controlled separately to the Football Club, by Big Parking. To pre-book your place, visit their website (https://www.bigparking.co.uk/wrexham-afc-parking/).

A list of alternative car parks can be found on the Wrexham Council website, here: https://www.wrexham.gov.uk/service/park ... d-car-park.

TRAVEL INFORMATION

By car: The STōK Cae Ras is located on Mold Road. The postcode is LL11 2AH. By car, take the A483 from Chester or Oswestry to Wrexham. Exit at the ‘Mold’ junction and then follow signs for ‘Town Centre’ and the STōK Cae Ras will come quickly into view.
By train: Wrexham General Train Station is located just next to the STōK Cae Ras. Upon exiting the station, turn right and cross the bridge and the stadium will be in front of you. Please plan your journey in advance.
By bus: Wrexham bus station is located in the centre of town. From the bus station, head towards the prominent multi-storey car park and turn right along Mold Road. The ground will be located on the right-hand side, just after you cross the bridge over the railway tracks, about half a mile along this road.

Looks like we've sold just shy of 1,000 ahead of these going on sale to STHs with 1000+ points (around 330 left). I wouldn't be surprised if we sell out today.

My experiences last season put this in line with, say, Exeter, where it maybe sells out by the end of the week. Last season, I only missed Oxford (which sold out straight away) and Leyton Orient (sold out 2 days in, iirc).

That said, if an adult ST does wish to sort me a ticket, Thursday 1400 feels a long way away and I'd be very grateful.

We're also in the Thursday at 2pm bracket so if there is anyone in here who could get 4 tickets before then we'd be very grateful

I should say there are currently 127 tickets remaining at present (or 1,157 of the 1,284 sold) - 71 in Block Y1; 52 in LY2 and 4 in LY3. Y2 and Y3 are sold out.

The tickets haven't shifted as quickly in the last 24 hours as I expected (we seem to have only sold around 200 tickets since opening up to both STHs with 1000+ points and STHs with 500+ points). Maybe not as many people in those categories as I would've thought or just less interest.

Reckon it would have sold out within the first two days had it not been on the Bank Holiday weekend and the inevitable Reading Festival and summer holiday clashes.

Almost by definition, the lower number of points, the less interest.

Last season, I'd have happily stumped up in advance for an away season ticket tbh tbf.

In for this. The last time I went it snowed and we had to rush to Primark to buy some warm clothes. I remember thinking Hahneman with his bald head and short sleeved shirt must have been frozen.
