Jerry St Clair Clyde1998 Berxwedan Zinar Seems that we're only in the corner on the side rather than also behind the goal this time
I imagine they're wanting to keep as many stands closed as possible to save on costs.
Seems we've sold around 134 to date.
Yes, Reading fans in the corner on the side as per last season. Cheltenham fans behind the goal in, what is normally the away stand. The small terrace behind the dugouts also open. All other stands closed.
Cheltenham have sold just over 50 tickets so far. It's going to be a humdinger.
I imagine most home sales will be very late compared to away sales, as there'll be less planning involved. Last season, Cheltenham's two home games had attendances of 1,175 and 1,090 against Newport and West Ham U21s respectively.
The season before, when they reached the semi-final, they were 1,275 and 1,526 against Walsall and West Ham U21s respectively in the groups and 1,058 and 1,874 against Chelsea U21s and Salford in the third round and quarter-finals.
I'd imagine at least 1,000 for this one, but not a huge amount more.
My estimate now is 180 sold by us; the tickets we had in Block 6 have sold out. We've only had two recent EFL Trophy away matches (and they were both further away than Cheltenham) - 281 at Exeter in the groups (about two weeks after playing there in the league) and approximately 450 at Brighton U21s (no official away attendance as there was no segregation, but the estimate was based on the block Reading fans were asked to buy tickets in). Would be a good showing if we got 350 or more.
