Season Ticket query

by JC » 27 Jul 2006 13:02

Just went on to OS online ticketing and it has an entry dated 1st August saying "Month 2 prepayment". As I paid for my ST by credit card should I be concerned at this entry?

Probably just the club running some tests on a live system again - silly twunts.

Probably worth a quick email to confirm though - you never know with our lot.

Has anyone had a response from the club? Mine is the same even though I paid in full.

No, the last time it said something completeley different about test 2 not for sale. The worry about this one is it is dated 1st August and I am concerned they are going to nick some more money!

At work we have a dictum about not putting test data through a live system. I would have thought it was only common sense.

Why does that not surprise me. Words fail me at times with this club. Surely they must realise that people are going to wonder what it is all about so why not tell us rather than leaving us to find out for ourselves.

I think they need a proper IT manager. Perhaps I should apply for the job! :D

I got this response-
'Thank you for your email. This is a software problem. We can confirm
that you have paid for your ticket in full and that no monies will be
taken from you'.

Can they not back it up, and test it on that?

I got the same response as Riseley. They are saying it was a software error rather than testing.

Just checked my account.

This is my ST confirmation

19/05/2006 Season 2006/2007 195 Confirmed

and three unidentified entries that have appeared since - I've removed ones I know about and my seat number.

01/08/2006 Month 2 Pre Payment Reserved
03/07/2006 test- not for sale Reserved
03/07/2006 Test 2 not for sale Reserved

The two on 03/07/06 definately look like the results of testing!

Not sure about the testing - I think they're just very poor descriptions for the below :

03/07/2006 test- not for sale = The £15 installment service charge
03/07/2006 Test 2 not for sale = Month 1 installment
01/08/2006 Month 2 Pre Payment = Month 1 installment

I take it you are paying by installments? And does anyone who paid for their ST in full also have these? - I'd suspect not.

Yes. If you read my original post I said that I had paid by credit card. That was why I was worried they were going to take more money!

I paid for mine in full and had exactly the same thing. If you read the posts above you will see that the club have acknowledged it's their mistake.
