Well Done Stewards/Tangos

by AbovetheI » 23 Sep 2006 21:34

Todays game was one i expected to be tough for the stewards, due to the constant standing of the Man U fans and the rebellious tendancies of the Y25/26 lot, causing us lot to stand in harmony with the Man U fans, but fair play to the stewards, not once did any steward confront any of us, telling us to sit down. Maybe now they've taken into account that if the away supporters stand then we should be able to because if they arent gonna tell the away fans to sit then they shouldnt tell us to. I'd like to commend the stewards laid back, and non-confrontational approach.

thought they did well today, did not try to aggravate the MAn U fans, worked to keep the isles clean, and did not get silly after when the flag incident occured, though thought one RFC fan was lucky not to get hauled out, the bloke with the 2 on his shirt.

No  The stewards come to tell people to sit down at every match but didn't try at this one.

I thought it was a bloke tbh. Nicky though, said woman. Who knows? I think we'll let Compo's Hat the resident HNA slag find out

I thought it was little unwise of RFC to put one female steward on the perimeter gate in the away end by the South-East corner. Poor girl seemed to be getting a lot of verbals from some of the United fans in that area.

A'h but Jerry women go on about equality so let them have it.
Good decision by the stewards not to cause a fuss. Agreed. Makes a welcome change and didn't hear any complaints about people standing so was this a one off?
Hope they weren't thinking they'd treat us as it was Man Utd!

LOL, which one? The one who kept coming up on tuesday or the one that made the gay like hand gestures for us to sit down, and got it ripped into him(I only sat in Y25 on Tuesday, as my season ticket is not there)

Female I thought on 2nd glance. Coming up I thought you can't take a bloke like that seriously, was short, skinny and baby faced. Then on the way down I saw a semblance of a chest on her, and that explained the lack of stubble!!

I thought it was a young boy but spent alot of the game trying to work it out.
