Upgrading a season ticket

by Schards#2 » 24 Oct 2006 08:55

Apologies if this has been covered before.

Is it a formality to upgrade a concession ticket to an adult one?

The official site says you can just do it but it's restricted to three times a season, however, I seem to remember people have a problem with this in the past.

Anyone tried it?

I've not done it but the official position is that season tickets are non transferable & can only be upgraded on an evening game (kick off after 7pm.) You can always make an appeal via the customer services manager (Jackie Evans) at customerservices@readingfc.co.uk to get a season ticket upgraded for an earlier kick off.

has this changed since last season?? towards the end of last season i did it for a 3pm kick off, you had to pay £10 for the privilage, limited to 6 per season. I'm sure it has changed though becasue of the Prem.

I upgraded my daughters ticket for the first game of the season without a problem. I just said my daughter was away and my wife wanted to come. They did it over the phone.

I seem to recall reading that evening games are no problem for upgrading kids tickets as it's past their bed times.

I upgraded my sons card to adult for the Man U game - £20 and no suggestion that this was a problem
