Stadium parking on match days

by Larry » 17 Jan 2007 18:53

Is it on a first come first served basis or does one need a car park season ticket?

most of it is taken with season tickets especially on the 'big' games but there is some pay on the day that goes quite quickly.

Right well my mate has a broken leg so need to get him as close to the stadium as possible and before the crowds arrive. Was thinking of getting there for 1pm, should be ok against Sheff Utd??

Check with the club, you may be able to park in a disabled spot near the relevent entrance.

I've got a season ticket and ususally arrive at 2.15 - they are often still taking cash at that time so 1pm ought to be OK. But call the club as they may be able to sell you a ticket for the day which can be collected in advance or held by the car park steward (I've seen others picking up ad-hoc tickets this way)

Not sure but contact the club as the pay on the day parking is behind the dome and a hell of a trek for a broken leg.

Unless you are clever about it, and drop the patient off near to the stadium prior to going to park the car.

Might I suggest you drop him off first and then go and park your car? Surprised nobody else has thought of this.

Normally, although it does depend where in the car park you park.

I think i've finally cracked my parking strategy and have got my exit time down from a woefull 55 mins to a reasonable 25 mins, just by parking in a different spot.
