£47? As that's two pounds dearer than Fulham charged United last year, I hope the Reading fans in the South Stand boycott the concession stands.

Ah, but it will be the same price as what Liverpool fans will pay when they visit, see the difference there?

PS
A boycott of products in the ground is welcomed!

Jesus, I'll have to wait until 6th August - days before the game! And I doubt that there'll be any tickets left and if they are, they'll probably be the £47 ones!

If there's only the £47 ones left, I guess I won't go.

I know you're joking, but I can't really afford to spend near £50 on a game. It's ridiculous and I don't want to pay it. Rather spend it on beer in a pub watching the game.

Ironically, it would still probably be my cheapest game as my travel fares would consist of - at most - a £1.90 tram fare. I just object to the price on principal, especially as it's just paying the Glazers' interest bill. If I can get a £37 ticket (still dear, IMO), I will go; otherwise, I shall be watching it in a blue pub in town.

Why the surprise, all AST's get the best seats. That is the whole point. Plus it will be £33 anyway, as that is the equivalent price for the same seating at OT for home fans

No chance of selling 3,000 for that.

a) It's expensive
b) It's on Sky....on Sunday.
c) We all had the opportunity to travel up for the cup game last season, so the "new ground" factor is not an issue.

I'm pretty certain that at the last league game at OT, the ASTs got the cheaper seats first, and the more expensive ones were sold last. I didn't think that the South Stand had enough away seats to satisfy all the ASTs anyway.

I'm umming and arring over this. I'd actually preer to be East stand behind the goal I think, but I'm thinking they'll put us in the corner, so I think they can stick it where the sun don't shine whilst I watch it on the box...

Reading didnt choose that price. That is the price on the ticket and Man Utd would have chosen the price.
The reason its a different proce is probably because different stands/tiers cost different prices. For example the Upper West costs more than the other stands/tiers at Reading.

Also, we charge away fans the non-members price, because obviously they won't be member-card holders. One presumes that this will be the same at other grounds. Although United tickets probably rarely - if ever - go on sale to non-members, because of the demand, they will probably have a non-member tariff, which they will use for away fans.

When it comes to away ticket sales, I think Reading just act as brokers for the opposition; I don't think they actually take a cut of the sales.

indeed. We sell tickets for them. They in turn sell our away end tickets for us when they come down here.

£38-£47 though. Beyond a joke.

The problem is that with idiots like the guy at West Ham paying stupid wages, and everyone else following suit, prices are going to go up and up.

Not true. For most games last season visiting fans could buy at our member prices if they were STH.
