The starting XI from the 2002 world cup was mainly European-based, but was a lot more entertaining than this side - Rivaldo, Ronaldo and Ronaldinho made them pretty exciting to watch.

I think they'll probably grind through Columbia, but it would be great if underdogs did them.

Ouroboros
Pepe the Horseman
Ouroboros Only just seen the result - missed the shoot-out because we went out to a Samuel Beckett play.

Despair, disappointment, alienation.

The play was good, though.

Oh boy!

From the episode where Sam leaps into Pepe's body:

But I would be very happy if the Dutch won, they have been finalists many times but never won. Second choice would be Colombia.

What's the vibe like in Holland now, Tules? Are they starting to believe?

Very much so Peps! The team is more together than they have ever been and they have total faith in Van Gaal. Van Gaal is trying to temper expectations though.

At the start of the tournament nobody thought they would get out of the group, infact the orange flags and paraphernalia didn't go up until after the Spain match. But what I love is that everyone here gets right into it. Shops close early, the bars are packed and everyone wears something orange, young and old, football fan or not. It's a great atmosphere and the noise that reverberates around the city when they score is phenominal.
